Wednesday, May 6th @ 4:00pm PT - Mario Correa (writer) DARK WATERS

Mario’s first screenplay, Let Her Speak, was the #2 script on the 2017 Black List.  Sandra Bullock is attached to star and produce alongside Todd Black (Fences, Roman J. Israel Esq., The Magnificent Seven) and Jonathan Shukat. Mario is adapting the New York Times Notable Book, Flagrant Conduct: The Story of Lawrence v. Texas – about the landmark Supreme Court case that struck down sodomy laws – for producers Todd Black and Jonathan Shukat. Mario is also a playwright whose work has been produced to acclaim Off-Broadway and regionally. He is currently working on a limited series for HBO.


Saturday, May 9th @ 12:00pm PT - James Brown (Producer/Director) STILL ALICE

James Brown started his career in independent production and film criticism in his native Australia. After relocating to London, Brown worked in acquisitions at various independent UK distribution companies, holding Head of Acquisitions roles at companies including Tartan Films and Metrodome. In 2011 he produced his first feature, Age of Heroes starring Sean Bean. Still Alice, his second feature as a producer, was acquired by Sony Pictures Classics at the Toronto Film Festival 2014. Still Alice won its star Julianne Moore the SAG Award, Indie Spirit, Golden Globe, BAFTA and Oscar in 2015. James produced and directed family film You Can Tutu which was acquired by Netflix for all-English territories. His latest feature as producer, Before You Know It starring Judith Light, Mandy Patinkin and Alec Baldwin, premiered in Competition at Sundance 2019 and will be released later this year. James is currently casting an adaptation of Lucky, the memoir by Alice Sebold (The Lovely Bones) with writer/director Karen Moncrieff.


Saturday, May 9th @ 3:30pm PT - Katie Mullens (Executive) at Netflix

Katie Mullens is an animation feature executive at Netflix. Katie has been at Netflix for 5 years, originally in the prime time series department before moving over to the newly formed animation department two years ago, where she helped build the department. She previously worked at the Jim Hensen Company.

 

Monday, May 11th @ 1:00pm PT - Ryan Cunningham (manager/producer) at Anonymous Content

Ryan Cunningham is a literary manager and producer at Anonymous Content. Ryan joined Madhouse Entertainment in 2006, soon after the company's inception and was promoted to full manager in 2009. Ryan moved to Anonymous Content in 2019. His client list includes Scott Beck & Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place), Phil Gelatt (Love, Death, + Robots), Lynn Maxcy (The Handmaid's Tale) to name a few. He Executive Produced Sony / Screen Gems’ feature Slender Man. He’s also developing John Scalzi’s award winning sci-fi book series Old Man's War as a feature for Netflix, Stephen King’s The Boogeyman for Fox, and has several other projects in development.


Saturday, May 16th @ 2:00pm PT - Robin Swicord (writer/director/producer) LITTLE WOMEN, THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, WHEN THEY SEE US

Robin Swicord is primarily known for her work as a screenwriter for Memoirs of a Geisha; Little Women, Matilda, the cult comedy Shag, The Perez Family, and Practical Magic. In 2009 Swicord received an Oscar nomination for her contribution to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, a project Swicord originated and worked on for more than a decade. Swicord made her feature-directing debut with Sony Pictures Classics’ The Jane Austen Book Club, for which she also wrote the screenplay adaptation. Swicord co-Executive Produced and wrote episodes of Ava DuVernay’s Netflix Emmy Award- nominated mini-series When They See Us. She is currently developing a television series based on Laura Equivel’s novel, Like Water For Chocolate, to be directed by Rodrigo Garcia for Apple TV+. She also has projects in the works for Fox and Warner Brothers.


Sunday, May 17th @ 11:00am PT - Prince Baggett  (Head of Motion Picture) at Genius Productions

Prince Baggett is Head of Motion Picture for Marsai Martin's production company, Genius Productions. He passionately creates and develops film projects that represent and tell the stories of young women of color, creating a new precedent and opportunities for those who are often overlooked in Hollywood.Prince manages Genius Productions First-Look deal with Universal where they have already set up projects including Amari and the Night Brothers producing alongside Mandeville as well as Don Cheadle, Queen & Stepmonster (producing alongside Will Packer Productions) to name a few. Baggett is a native of Inglewood, California, and currently resides in his home state in Hollywood, CA.


Thursday, May 21st @ 4:00pm PT - Kailey Marsh (manager/producer) at Brillstein Entertainment Partners

Kailey is a literary manager & producer at Brillstein Entertainment Partners.  Marsh created the annual BloodList in 2009 while still an assistant at Circle of Confusion and after having worked as an assistant on the break out hit Paranormal Activity. While Marsh has a specialty in horror and dark genre writers, directors, and creators in the film and television space, her roster includes creators in all genres and mediums. Marsh most recently served as Executive Producer on the HULU / Awesomeness horror series, Light As A Feather for two seasons, and has numerous projects in different stages of development across town.


Sunday, May 24th @ 1:00pm PT - Jeff Davis (writer/creator/showrunner) CRIMINAL MINDS, TEEN WOLF

Jeff Davis is a writer/producer who created Criminal Minds for CBS and was the developer and showrunner for Teen Wolf on MTV. He is currently working under an overall deal with the Fox Network as well as developing a reboot of Rod Serling's Night Gallery for Universal and SyFy Channel.
