Weekend Box Office Top Ten:

FROZEN 2 is #1 again with $34.6M (Million), a domestic total of $337.5M, and a global haul of almost $920M. The Disney smash has propelled the studio past the $10 Billion mark worldwide this year for all releases, a new record, and will itself pass the $1 Billion threshold by the end of next weekend, becoming the sixth film released by Disney this year to make over $1B globally.

KNIVES OUT held at #2 with $14.1M, a domestic total of $63.4M, and a worldwide total of $124M. Produced for $40M plus marketing, this film is already profitable for all involved, with more to be earned through the rest of the year. Rian Johnson has already teased plans for a sequel, with nothing officially announced yet; but for MRC and Lionsgate, this could be the start of a new hit franchise.

FORD V. FERRARI is #3 with $6.5M, a domestic total of $91M, and $167M globally, with some key markets yet to open. Produced for $97M plus marketing, this one is still expected to be profitable for Fox and Disney, along with being a major awards contender.

QUEEN & SLIM is #4 with $6.5M, and a total of $26.8M. Produced for around $17M plus a modest marketing campaign, this film should prove profitable for Universal.

A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD is #5 with $5.2M, and a total of $43.1M so far, with international yet to debut. Produced for $25M plus marketing, there is no doubt this will be profitable for Sony.

DARK WATERS is #6 with $4.1M and a total of $5.2M after expanding into 2,012 theaters for Focus Features.

21 BRIDGES is #7 with $2.8M, a domestic total of nearly $24M, and an incredibly early $26.6M worldwide with almost all of international yet to open. STX split the $33M budget in half, and is only representing the U.S. market.

PLAYING WITH FIRE is #8 with $2M, a domestic total of almost $42M, and an early $49M worldwide. Produced for $30M, it is unclear whether this will be profitable for Paramount Players or not; but the film should have no problem reaching the breakeven range for the studio.

MIDWAY is #9 with $1.9M, a domestic total of $53.4M, and $108M worldwide. Produced for $100M plus marketing, this will be a sharp financial loss for all involved.

JOKER is #10 with $1M, a domestic total of $332M, and a global haul which has now reached an absolutely stunning $1.054 Billion for WB, currently the sixth biggest release globally this year, ahead of ALADDIN and right behind TOY STORY 4.

Next weekend sees the domestic debut and global expansion of JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL, before THE RISE OF SKYWALKER arrives with a massive worldwide push beginning on December 19th.
