You read that right. That means that in the month of February, another writer found representation nearly every other day! Remember, we only count success stories that happened as a direct result of an introduction made by Roadmap. We don’t take credit when a writer finds representation on their own, without our assistance.
Too many organizations pad their accomplishments with filler that misleads writers and the executives they work with which is why at Roadmap we value true transparency when it comes to our success stories.
These latest Roadmap success stories include writers from Australia to Los Angeles who write in all genres and formats, including digital series!
So how is all this happening?
First and foremost, our writers are talented, amazing people and the execs we work with know we only provide them with vetted talent. Second, we have stepped up our writer marketing efforts even more. I spend the majority of my day promoting writers who stand out from our Career Writer Program, competitions, and the Access Programs. (Fun Fact: if you think I send you a lot of emails, you should see the number of emails I send each of the hundreds of execs we work with!!).
I always approach each potential exec match with intention, coaching writers before they go into meetings, and strategizing how to open up more opportunities and build momentum for their screenwriting career.
To capitalize on the momentum recent success stories have brought for the Roadmap community, the RoadCrew has been all hands on deck prepping writers on their pitches, helping hone their pages, talking to as many writers as we can to provide insight and strategy, and of course, making countless introductions to our eager executive pool.

The next couple of months are going to be INSANE as we dive into staffing season, and a couple of features that were discovered through Roadmap go into production with major studios. So now is not the time to lay low!
