Standing Out: Mastering Voice, Confidence, & Perseverance

Tiegen Kosiak
Co-Founder, The Young Hollywood Mafia

In this webinar, independent producer and development consultant Tiegen Kosiak will discuss how to help find people who can get on board and get your movie made. She’ll advise you on how to get your script in the hands of helpful and interested Hollywood professionals, which is an integral step in the process of bringing your characters to life. Plus, and perhaps more importantly, she’ll share how to make your script so good, those professionals CAN’T PUT IT DOWN. It’s one thing to get your script to the right people, it’s another to keep their interest. Tiegen will help you better understand how to get real traction with your work.

Sure, strong characters and a solid plot are extremely important when creating a captivating screenplay. But the best way to set yourself apart is with a clearly defined writer’s voice. That means figuring out what makes your style most unique and leaning into it so your work can truly shine. On top of all of this, Tiegen will also share tips and tricks for networking, pitching, research, “industry empathy” (an original Tiegen term she’ll explain further in the webinar), and standing out in a good way!

Remember: the writing is the hardest part. The rest comes down to confidence and perseverance.

This 90 -Minute Webinar Will Cover:

  • Finding your voice
  • Building confidence
  • Networking
  • Pitching
  • Live Q&A!
