About Your Host

Asia Muci started her career at WestEnd Films where she worked on titles such as Jeremy Saulnier’s GREEN ROOM and Oscar Nominee SONG OF THE SEA. She then moved to Goldcrest Films where she handled sales for their award-winning library that included classics like THE NAME OF THE ROSE, THE MISSION, and A ROOM WITH A VIEW.

Asia joined Independent in 2018 and worked on TIFF selection THE ESCAPE starring Gemma Arterton and Dominic Cooper, OUT OF BLUE starring Patricia Clarkson, and Nia DaCosta’s feature debut LITTLE WOODS starring Lily James and Tessa Thompson, among others.

Originally from Milan, Italy, Asia earned a BA in Communication Media and Advertising at IULM university where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then moved to London to complete an MA in Media Management at the University of Westminster. Asia is a guest lecturer at the University of Westminster on International Film Business and has spoken at various panels for Women in Film. She's fluent in Italian, Spanish and English.
