About Your Hosts:
worked as a late-night and sitcom writer in Australia, and taught Screenwriting at the University of Melbourne, before moving to Canada and then the US, where he continued a career in film and television production on such shows as THE MUPPETS and CRIMINAL MINDS. He was brought on as a Creative Executive for boutique production and management companies Artillery Creative and Station 3 Entertainment, where he worked in development and production on a number of film and TV projects, including Freeform’s SIREN. Most recently, Nick wrote for Hasbro’s LITTLEST PET SHOP: A WORLD OF OUR OWN on Discovery Family, and was a staff writer on Season 2 of the animated sitcom FINAL SPACE for TBS. Alex Freedman
is a multinational writer from Paris, France, where he studied film and production at the Sorbonne University. In 2008, he launched TV CALLING, a platform dedicated to television writing and the television industry, which has over the years become one of the most widely followed resources about the business. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has had the opportunity to work in many areas of television, including TV development at EPIX, and with writer/producers on shows like FALLING SKIES (TNT) and HELL ON WHEELS (AMC). Alex is currently working on Season 2 of Netflix's science-fiction series ALTERED CARBON.
