Emily Thomas is a writer and producer of dramatic content, most notably for the acclaimed Netflix Original Series LONGMIRE, for which she served first as the show’s Writer Assistant and Script Coordinator, and later as the designated on-set Creative Producer.
Prior to her time on LONGMIRE, Emily worked for the William Morris Endeavor agency, Jerry Bruckheimer Productions,New Regency Productions, and Kartemquin Documentary Films. She attended Columbia College Chicago, earning a Bachelor of the Arts in Television Writing and Producing and graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Emily is currently the Media Programming Coordinator for the Pittsburgh Center for Arts + Media, where she teaches courses in television writing. Additionally, Emily is an adjunct instructor at La Roche University, and guest lectures for Point Park University and Robert Morris University.
A Pittsburgh native, Emily’s personal work explores the intricacies of Appalachian culture, giving voice to an often-ignored and underserved region of the country. She is particularly passionate about stories that speak to the complexities of loss and survival, in all their many forms.
Sean Farina grew up in Los Angeles. After attending college at Tulane, he got involved in New Orleans' burgeoning film scene before leaving to pursue writing and directing back home. While working in network television for almost a decade, Sean contributed to Lost, Once Upon a Time, and wrote one of Hawaii Five-0's most watched episodes. His short film East Stackton won multiple awards on the festival circuit and featured talent that would go on to be seen in Showtime's Quarry and Spike Jonze's Her. He continues to write television and write, produce, and direct projects in the indie world.
Danny Alexander has been in the TV lit department at the Agency for Performing Arts for the past five years. In that time, he has worked through both development and staffing of cable and broadcast television.
Charlotte Austin Johnson was most recently a Staff Writer on the NBC sitcom Perfect Harmony. Previously she was a Script Coordinator on the CBS show Life in Pieces and worked in development at the media company Refinery29. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a double-major in Psychology and Film, and a concentration in Theater. In 2015, she was the recipient of the Studio North grant for filmmaking. The hardest thing she’s ever had to accept about herself is she would make a fantastic PE teacher.
Simone Wymbs-Stevens graduated from NYU's Tisch, School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and TV in 2013. A year on the post-grad struggle bus later, she got her first job working as an office PA on a pilot which landed her on season four of CBS's Person of Interest. After the season ended, she had an epiphany, realized she wanted to be a comedy writer, and decided to move to Los Angeles. She finally managed to leave the world of procedural dramas behind when she landed a job working for Lindsey Shockley, a Co-EP on season four of ABC's Blackish. They have cake in the office almost every week and she is never leaving.
