Todd Murata is a development executive and producer for both movies and television series. He is currently VP, Development and Production at MarVista Entertainment. Most recently, he Executive Produced television movies for OWN, BET and Disney Channel and a feature film, SIGHTLESS. He also developed and supervised the Netflix series, BEST WORST WEEKEND EVER. Previous to MarVista, he was VP, Development and Production at Mayhem Pictures, a production company with a first look deal with Walt Disney Studios and ABC Studios. During this time, he was a co-producer on FALLEN, a feature film directed by Scott Hicks. Prior to Mayhem Pictures, he was Director of Production at Walt Disney Studios, where he developed a portfolio of films that included, STEP UP 2 & 3, SECRETARIAT, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3, ENCHANTED, WILD HOGS and BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA.
