About Justin

Justin Ross was born and raised in the Midwest. He began his film career as a screenwriter in Los Angeles, working on spec for director Maguy Cohen (12 YEARS A SLAVE; GHOST PROTOCOL, second unit direction). Mr. Ross moved to New York where he joined Intrinsic Value Films first as a script reader and shortly thereafter as Creative Executive. During his tenure at Intrinsic, he secured relationships with top talent, including prolific producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald and Sir Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions as well as the estates of authors Ray Bradbury and Philip K. Dick to name two.

Mr. Ross joined Bohemia Group Originals (the recently formed production arm of international talent management company, Bohemia Group) as Director of Production in 2015 and was promoted to Executive Vice President of Development and Production in 2016. He lives in Los Angeles and continues to write, connecting his two passions: good people and great stories.

The Company produced its first feature, A DARK PLACE, in 2018. A DARK PLACE was named "Best Thriller" at the 2018 Manhattan Film Festival among other awards.

Justin's Pitch Tip: Clear. Simple. To the Point. Tell me about it like you are telling me about this great movie you just saw.
