About Sullivan

Sullivan Fitzgerald is launching his development career as the Development Associate at Erica Messer Productions. Having been on staff with the company since its inception in 2016, he brings his experience working on CRIMINAL MINDS (CBS), CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS (CBS), NASHVILLE (ABC), and STATE OF AFFAIRS (NBC) to the development process.

Fitzgerald, a native of Niagara Falls, NY, is a graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School with a BS in Television, Radio & Film and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprising. He first came to Los Angeles as part of the Syracuse University In Los Angeles (SULA) program, interning for a semester at the feature film company Atmosphere Entertainment, where he wrote coverage for all book, feature spec and television pilot submissions.

The following summer, he returned to Los Angeles as a participant of the highly-competitive Television Academy Foundation Internship Program. Assigned to the drama development department of ABC Studios, Fitzgerald was excited by the fast-paced, writer-driven world of dramatic series. Not only did the world of television appeal to his professional interests, but it addressed his creative desire to write.

He is a fan of all things Bills, Sabres, and Orange and answers, most enthusiastically, to the name "Sully."
