Ryan Busse

Ryan Busse
Producer, STORY Collective

"I had my one hour consult with Ryan Busse on Tuesday. I want to send you a testimonial for Ryan. It was one of the best meetings I've had with a producer/story developer. Ryan gave me notes of insight on my character and story line that are invaluable to me. I've had several writers, directors and consultants review this script and only Ryan touched on the very specifics of what my script needs to shine. I could tell he really took the time to read my script, and he blew me away with the details of my characters and story acts." - Rebecca Spindler

About Your Host

Ryan Busse graduated San Diego State University before starting his career in the talent department at WME. After several years at WME, the last of which spent as the talent department coordinator, Busse left the agency to pursue his passion for the creative side of the industry and joined Allison Shearmur Productions. While at ASP, he was intimately involved in the sourcing, development and production of the company’s film and television slate. Over his five years at the company, he was involved in such projects as SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY, CHAOS WALKING, ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, POWER RANGERS, NERVE, and Disney’s CINDERELLA, amongst others. In early 2018, Busse joined his long-time co-worker, Stephen Meinen, in opening the independent production company, STORY Collective. STORY Collective has office space at Anonymous Content and is financially backed by a prominent musician. We are in development on projects with A-list actors, writers, and directors that for the sake of confidentiality cannot be stated until the projects are properly announce. STORY Collective has projects set up at many of the major studios and prominent financiers in town. We are equally focused on television and features.
