Hosted by Adam Engelhard (Literary Manager, Mailroom LA)

Unsure because you have a lot of read requests and don't know what the next step should be? Only have one script and not sure if you should spend your time pitching or working on your craft? Our Next Steps Clinic is designed to offer you a personalized strategic battle plan for the year ahead!

Your host will begin with a lecture covering the importance of having a plan and mapping out a strategy - not just throwing spaghetti at the wall!

To participate, writers will submit a one-pager with their bio, loglines, requests/traction they have had, and questions about where to go from where they are.

  • Learn how to formulate a plan to help you envision realistic goals for the coming year
  • Learn when to work on your craft and when to market your material
  • Learn what you should be doing for where you want to go
