Unsure because you have a lot of read requests and don't know what the next step should be? Only have one script and not sure if you should spend your time pitching or working on your craft? Our Next Steps Clinic is designed to offer you a personalized strategic battle plan for the year ahead!

Your host will begin with a lecture covering the importance of having a plan and mapping out a strategy - not just throwing spaghetti at the wall!

To participate, writers will submit a one-pager with their bio, loglines, requests/traction they have had, and questions about where to go from where they are.

In This 2-Hour Clinic You Will:

  • Get tips on how to form a strategy for writing, marketing, and pitching
  • Learn how to formulate a plan to help you envision realistic goals for the coming year
  • Learn when to work on your craft and when to market your material 
  • Learn what you should be doing for where you want to go

About Your Host

Andrew Kersey is a Los Angeles manager who represents writers and directors. Formerly he was with the management/production firm 3 Arts Entertainment and a Universal based production company. Kersey's clients have sold projects to various studios including Universal, Fox, Dreamworks, New Line, Paramount, Sony, Warner Bros. and Ivan Reitman's company, Montecito. In television, Kersey's clients have projects at the Disney Channel, Fox and Nickelodeon.

What To Expect

Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to your syllabus, instructions for submitting material (if any), and the link to join the Live Class.

Payment Plans

Payment plans are available for most multi-week classes. For 4-week programs, your balance will be due the second week of class. For longer programs, the balance will be broken up into 3 or 4 payments with the final payment due prior to the final week of class.
