About Your Host

Morgyn Utzman is a writer/director from Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, she has worked on high profile shows such as The Son (AMC) and Queen Sugar (OWN) in multiple capacities. She is currently the Development Coordinator to director/writer/showrunner Kat Candler. She collaborates creatively on the many television shows, pitches, and features currently being developed with Kat. Morgyn directs her own short films and has completed three pilots and three feature scripts. Her work explores family, gender dynamics, and the feminine experience and spans multiple genres. She is based in Los Angeles and is currently writing her fourth feature.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to instructions on how to submit your contact info or written pitch via the Material Submission Form.
  • Your material/contact submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than 2 hours prior to the start of the session.
  • You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pitch via email within 5 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.
