After graduating from Penn State with a degree in counter-terrorism and intelligence analysis, Mark switched gears and launched a career in entertainment as a producer that worked on multiple Emmy-award winning unscripted series. In 2018, he jumped to the scripted side of the business as a freelance story analyst and read for HBO, Anonymous Content, and United Talent Agency, to name a few. In 2019, Mark moved over to Warner Bros. Pictures as an IATSE Local 700 Story Analyst where he contributed to the development of feature projects such as HOT WHEELS, SPEEDY GONZALES, and THE PINKERTON. Mark now works at Storied Media Group (SMG), as a Manager of Development & Client Partnerships where he sources, develops, packages, and sells stories from the company’s powerhouse publishing clients which includes The Washington Post, NPR, The Guardian and Harper Collins. Outside of work, Mark is dedicated to championing diverse stories and storytellers through his work with Diverso - a non-profit that seeks to discover and elevate minority student screenwriters from colleges around the country - where he serves as the Director of Story and Selection.
