About Your Host

Madeleine Askwith is a creative Producer from Aotearoa New Zealand who has shot all over the world and is currently based in New York. Maddy produced Cedric Cheung-Lau’s THE MOUNTAINS ARE A DREAM THAT CALL TO ME (Sundance 2020) and Tim Sutton’s FUNNY FACE (Berlinale 2020). Maddy also co-produced Matthew Porterfields SOLLERS POINT which premiered at San Sebastian 2017 and Production Managed Tim Sutton's DARK NIGHT which premiered at Sundance 2016. In 2019 Maddy was in North Korea filming a documentary RUNNING IN THE DPRK with the Olympic Channel, and in development of AUGUSTOWN, an adaptation of Kei Miller’s highly praised novel to be shot in the Caribbean in 2021. She is currently preparing to shoot PALM TREES AND POWER LINES, an adaptation of Jamie Dack’s Cinéfondation selected short in San Diego in July.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to instructions on how to submit your contact info or written pitch via the Material Submission Form.
  • Your material/contact submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than 2 hours prior to the start of the session.
  • You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pitch via email within 5 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.
