About Your Host

Mr. Mudd is a film/tv production company founded in 1998 by Lianne Halfon, John Malkovich, and Russell Smith. The company is known for producing the films GHOST WORLD (2001), JUNO (2007), and THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER (2012), all three of which received critical acclaim. They also produced the Oscar-nominated documentary Which Way Home. Kyle Fried joined Mr. Mudd as an assistant and became involved in creative development in 2009. He has optioned scripts to CBS, Pioneer Pictures, and Mazur/Kaplan.

HOW IT WORKS


  • Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to instructions on how to submit your contact info or written pitch via the Material Submission Form.
  • Your material/contact submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than 2 hours prior to the start of the session.
  • You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pitch via email within 5 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.
