Mr. Mudd is a film/tv production company founded in 1998 by Lianne Halfon, John Malkovich, and Russell Smith. The company is known for producing the films Ghost World (2001), Juno (2007) and The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), all three of which received critical acclaim. They also produced the Oscar-nominated documentary Which Way Home. Kyle Fried joined Mr. Mudd as an assistant and became involved in creative development in 2009. He has optioned scripts to CBS, Pioneer Pictures, and Mazur/Kaplan.
