About Kate: 

Kate Imel started her career in the mailroom at ICM Partners. From there, Kate worked under the head of the Media Rights department who sold books to film/tv. After a year there, she went on to the Motion Picture Literary Department at CAA where she aided writers and directors in packaging their material for film. More recently, Kate worked for Temple Hill Entertainment where she worked on Fox's ROSEWOOD, POWER RANGERS, MAZERUNNER and THE LONGEST RIDE. Now Kate is a Creative Executive at Adaptive Studios where she focuses on acquiring material in the publishing space and transitioning those projects into Film and TV. Since her time there, she has setup a project at Fox Animation with 21 Laps and helped package a show that is now in development at FX.
