Karen Frost started her entertainment career at a broadcast journalism agency in Chicago. The agency in folded after the economic crash of 2008, leading Karen to pursue her dream of working scripted television to use narrative storytelling to inspire positive change.
After a two-year stint as an admissions counselor at Columbia College Chicago, she moved to Los Angeles, landing in the unscripted TV department at Don Buchwald & Associates. She went on to work in unscripted development at Studio Lambert, an office PA on THE FOSTERS on Freeform, an associate producer on Freeform’s JOB OR NO JOB and THE PEOPLE’S COUCH on Bravo, and the business affairs department at CAA.
Karen is now a TV Creative Executive at JuVee Productions. She also serves as the senior minister and co-founder of Spirit Uncensored, an organization centered on the concept of love as a religion. Karen and her wife of eight years, Ronnie, also host The Drunken Church Ladies comedy podcast.
