About Your Host

Josh Zakaria is a film and TV literary manager/producer who specializes in identifying and working with writers, directors, and filmmakers who are able to weave unique, authentic, and interesting characters into commercially conscious stories. Zakaria graduated from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts with a BFA in Public Relations/Advertising and began his journey in entertainment at top management companies like Mosaic, Good Fear, and Anonymous Content. In 2017, Zakaria branched out and opened Zakaria Entertainment Group. With his clients, he is currently taking spec scripts out, developing pitches, as well as hunting open writing assignments and the best opportunities for his clients. Zakaria is excited and focused on finding emerging and unique voices to champion.

HOW IT WORKS


  • Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to instructions on how to submit your script via the Material Submission Form.
  • Your material submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than 9:00am PT on the day of the session.
  • During the session, the exec will read as many of your opening pages as they can get through in 8 minutes.
  • You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pages via email within 5 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.
