Jeremy Hentschel is a professional and creative voice with over seven years of entertainment industry experience. Prior to his move to Los Angeles, Jeremy earned an MFA in Creative Writing from American University in Washington DC.
Jeremy is currently a freelance screenwriting consultant and mentor, aiding various production entities in the development process as well as working with aspiring writers to help find their voices.
Most recently, Jeremy served as Creative Executive at Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment, where he oversaw the company’s slate of both film and television projects. In addition to working closely with writers, producers, and directors on their existing projects, Jeremy regularly sought out new talent as well as strong intellectual property for development.
During his career, Jeremy has worked on several major studio feature projects, including as GEOSTORM and INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE, as well as the upcoming independent feature BAD SAMARITAN. In the television world, Jeremy helped oversee multiple seasons of the TNT series LEVERAGE and THE LIBRARIANS in addition to the upcoming CW fantasy series THE OUTPOST.
