Hosted by Ali Reza - Founder of UCB & The PIT, Improv Instructor Extraordinaire (collaborators include Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Adam McKay and Horatio Sanz)!
You’re at the stage where you are pitching your projects and getting ready to take general meetings (you may even already have a few under your belt)! But how can you prepare for these rare-yet-nerve-wracking opportunities and avoid sounding like a bumbling weirdo?? Well, one way to get more comfortable in the hot seat is to do a little training in Improv!
Improv has many guidelines and from it some of the best comedy is born. But did you know that you use improv daily? Every conversation you have is improv, the question is why some of them work and why some don’t. Ali Reza, improv master, is here hosting an entire webinar all about improv skills and how you can apply them to pitching, general meetings, interviews and beyond!
While it’s terrifying being in the hot seat, Ali will give tips and techniques on how to turn every spotlight into an improv opportunity so you can have fun with it and have a greater chance of success! Additionally, five writers will be chosen to participate in improv exercises with Ali so you can see theory in action and how improv can be used to take charge of even the hottest seat!
