Screenwriting covers a lot of ground: you have features, hour-long dramas, 30-minute sitcoms, miniseries, limited series, and on and on. One lesser looked at format is animation. Roadmap is thrilled to have Stephanie Wilkie from Sony Animation talk about how while writing for animation is different from writing for live action, it is still plagued with the same problem of lack of female representation. Your hosts will cover this topic from a development (Peter) and a production (Stephanie) perspective, drawing from their own experiences in the animation business.
This 90-Min. Webinar Will Cover:
Stephanie Wilkie studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and graduated in 2012 with a BFA in Animation. She moved to Los Angeles and interned at Cinipix, ROAR, and Columbia Pictures. She is now a production coordinator at Sony Pictures Animation working on HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3.
