Stories that illustrate unique experiences whether they be true to life or fantastical, that speak to universal themes. Stories that aren't afraid to take risk but have the wherewithal to find common grounds. Have a preference for TV dramas, fiction and graphic novels that could be developed for new mediums. Open to comedies as well, single and multi-cam.
Be concise and emphasize your characters, their relationships how they shape your plot/story. Above all, have FUN!
Daniel Stitt is a Creative Executive at BET Networks. For the past 5+ years, Stitt has helped develop and manage several projects on the network's slate including BEING MARY JANE, AMERICAN SOUL, Lena Waithe's TWENTIES and BOOMERANG, THE BOBBY BROWN STORY, and more. With a passion for bringing emerging and diverse voices to the small screen, Stitt has lent his skillset to BET's first ever SCRIPT TO SCREEN initiative for TV writers. He also assist PROJECT CRE8, Viacom's initiative for new filmmakers, and works as BET's brand ambassador for the VIEWFINDER program, a director mentorship program. In 2019 Stitt was selected among 20 rising executives and producers to the TIMES UP: WHO'S IN THE ROOM program.
