What goes into a successful career as a writer? What are the tools writers have to have in their toolbox to maximize their chances of success? We could name a whole list of things, but it all boils down to compelling characters, compelling stories, and the ability to communicate these to others.
These things are easier said than done, but that's why Roadmap welcomes one of our favorites Conrad Sun to host a lecture series designed to give you the tools to master all of these elements.
Week #1: Character Conceit
Week #2: Story Conceit
Week #3: The Formula for a Sellable Pitch
Conrad Sun is the head of Meridian Artists' Los Angeles Division and has been a literary manager for the past seven years. After graduating from the Peter Stark Producing program at USC, he worked in development before transitioning over to management. His passion is working with writers and directors who want to tell authentic stories... doesn't matter what genre or platform.
