Career Coaching - The Executive will read a 1 pager of your loglines with the title, genre, format and tonal comps. Then Bridget will have a private 1 hour call with you to give you notes on your pitch, help you prioritize what logline to push first, how to best position your script in the marketplace, what companies you should be targeting and more. Please only submit a 1 pager of your loglines for this program.
Bridget Wiley is a creative executive who has been working in the television business for almost 20 years. She was raised in Chicago with Midwestern values and a work ethic to match. Most recently, she served as the Executive Vice President of Programming at CBS, overseeing all aspects of scripted programs from CBS Network and CBS Studio's current programming departments and reported directly to the Presidents of both divisions. As head of the studio and network current departments, Bridget oversaw creative direction for all primetime scripted shows on the network such as Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, Elementary, Hawaii Five-O, Madam Secretary, and NCIS, among many others. She also helped to launch first season shows such as Bull, Man With A Plan and Life In Pieces. In her years prior as a current executive, she was the executive on Emmy Award winning The Good Wife, Under the Dome, 90210, Scorpion, Limitless, and How I Met Your Mother, among many more. Bridget has worked in multiple areas of the television business. She started at The William Morris agency in the talent department, and after moving over to the studio, was promoted to executive in drama at 20th Century Fox TV, then recruited to current programming at CBS Studios where she rose to studio and network department head. She was mentored by and learned from top creative executives including Dana Walden, Nina Tassler, David Stapf and Glenn Geller. She developed strong relationships with an extensive and diverse list of some of the business's most talented showrunners, writers and directors. Through her vast experience, she has mastered the process of supporting writers and producers to deliver the highest quality content possible. Bridget is currently independently producing and entertaining new executive positions.
