Braxton Rickert currently works as assistant for literary manager Lee Stobby, helping develop scripts for clients such as Shay Hatten (JOHN WICK 3, MAXIMUM KING!, (FUTURE) CULT CLASSIC), Isaac Adamson (BUBBLES, CHIPPENDALES), Kate Trefry (STRANGER THINGS). He previously worked in talent management and got his start as an intern covering scripts for Mike Medavoy’s Phoenix Pictures (ALTERED CARBON, BLACK SWAN), and Jim Stern’s Endgame Entertainment (MURDER MYSTERY, THE DISCOVERY). Before making the big move across the country, Rickert graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Communications Studies: Media Production and minors in Writing for the Screen and Stage and Creative Writing.
Each month mentorship kicks off with a preliminary 15-min. call to set expectations and lay out strategy for the month. Writer will have unlimited email access with executive plus 4x one-hour consultations with the exec. Exec will read up to 4 scripts in one month (different drafts of the same script or 4 different scripts) and conduct 4x one-hour story notes calls. Calls will also include pitch preps, brand preps and career strategy.
