Bobby Hoppey is an independent producer and consultant. In addition to overseeing a growing slate of projects across scripted and unscripted, Bobby currently serves as an advisor to two upstart LA-based production companies, Everlast Pictures (founded by Adonis Tountas and Michael Spanos II) and Complementary Colors (founded by Jonah Disend). A seasoned story analyst, Bobby was previously with independent production company and financier Valparaiso Pictures, where he was a founding member and ran development. At Valparaiso, his notable feature projects included 'Pig' (starring Nicolas Cage and acquired by Neon for theatrical), 'Barney the Dinosaur' (a reimagining of the I.P. with Mattel and Daniel Kaluuya's 59%), 'Baby Teeth' (a book-to-film adaptation in development with Village Roadshow Pictures), and the LGBTQ rom com 'Straight Up' directed by James Sweeney (available on Netflix). Prior to Valparaiso, Bobby spent five years at Echo Lake Entertainment, where he managed projects across the film and television divisions, while simultaneously leveraging his background in talent by interfacing closely with the company's management division (developing with priority clients such as Liz Hannah and the Fanning Sisters).
