Back to Basics: Mastering Feature Film Structure

Sold Out - Waitlist Available

Who here has seen a movie and thought to themselves “this movie feels like it’s a thousand hours long”? Or “oh no, they’re really going to repeat that again”? Or how about “where is this even going”? Chances are, all those feelings point to a problem with the film’s structure.

Just like your bones keep you sturdy and solid, a film’s structure holds the story together and keeps it moving forward. And understanding structure is a key skill every screenwriter should have in their arsenal.

This 90 Minute Webinar Will Cover:

  • What we mean when we talk about film structure
  • The three acts and length
  • How to make structure work for your story
  • Live Q&A!

Following the lecture, you will have the opportunity to send Nat a 1-2 pager on your project and schedule a time for your 10-min. call that will take place on Sunday 2/17 between 2pm - 4pm PST! Nat will discuss your synopsis and help you identify any areas of structural concern.
