Right now, I am particularly interested in female-led stories and socially relevant stories along with genre films.
With a range of experience in content creation, development, and financing, producer/director Annika Ranin (BOSS LEVEL; BENT) currently runs London-based production company Unmannered Limited which focuses on both narrative and documentary feature films with a strong artistic approach and international commercial viability. The company currently has 2 feature documentaries in post-production and a varied slate of narrative projects in development, including a UK-based folk horror and a US-based thriller. Annika has a strong understanding of the business side of independent film from her previous experience in international film finance, where she was involved in sourcing projects for investment. Currently, she acts as a consultant for a high-profile Scandinavian distributor, actively reading scripts and watching finished titles selling in the marketplace. In 2020, Annika made her directorial debut with feature documentary BOARDERS.
