About Your Host

Adam Ripp is an award-winning filmmaker who has worked on/produced a multitude of projects. He also wrote Beat Cop, a character driven script about a young Black man from Watts who defies his friends and family and joins the the Los Angeles Police Department. In order to capture the true essence of this world, Adam became an LAPD officer in 1995 where he worked patrol, narcotics, vice, gangs and other specialized units. He drew from these experiences as research for his script. Vega Baby Productions is packaging Beat Cop with Adam attached to direct and Stanley Tucci attached to star. Adam's other credits include: creating, developing and writing SWAT for TNT, Scavenger for Beacon Pictures, executive producing the animated movie review series The Cowboy Critic for Lionsgate's CinemaNow.com, the Owen Wilson led feature, No Escape, producing Gambit (written by Joel & Ethan Coen). His next feature film as producer is based upon the best selling novel Something Happened by Joseph Heller; Tim Roth is attached to star. Oscar winning writer Christopher McQuarrie and Adam are also currently collaborating on an untitled script that Adam is attached to direct.

HOW IT WORKS

  • You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pitch via email within 5 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.
