We also want to spotlight one of Roadmap Writers' partners, The Writers Lab!

The Writers Lab is produced by New York Women in Film & Television and co-founders Elizabeth Kaiden and Nitza Wilon of Women in the Script Trade (WIST), and supported by Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman. It is presented in collaboration with the Writers Guild of America, East, with in-kind support from The Black List, Falco Ink, Film Fatales, Roadmap Writers, Stony Brook Manhattan Center for Creative Writing & Film, and Tribeca Film Institute. A special thank you to Final Draft for their product contribution.

Each year, The Writers Lab selects 12 promising writers, from a competitive pool of submissions to be mentored by outstanding women in film. Participants come together for a four-day retreat near New York City to work on their screenplays and their craft in one-on-one sessions. They take part in panels and workshops to gain the valuable tools and information needed to achieve success with their projects and careers.
