Charnay was integral in bringing Covert’s project THE SECRET, an adaptation of the worldwide best-selling book, directed by Andy Tennant (Ever After: A Cinderella Story, Hitch, Fool’s Gold) and starring Katie Holmes to the company. Charnay is keen on telling stories from perspectives that are not always featured in mainstream media. Additionally, Charnay works with Women in Film as a judge on the board for their Film Finishing Fund, and as a Peer Mentor in their Mentoring Circles. She also mentors with Mayor Garcetti's Evolve Entertainment Fund. She started her own organizations WHO RUN THE WORLD and THE TRIBE. Both encompass an elite group of female executives/producers/managers & agents working across the film and television industry with the goal of creating more opportunities for women both behind and in front of the camera. She is a graduate of UCLA and Brunel University (UK).
