Mid Month Check In

Jorge will host a Zoom check in with the group on Tuesday 9/15 @ 5pm PT. Come in ready to discuss your roundtables, feedback, and any questions about how to maximize your meetings!

Roundtables:

If you are not scheduled in a session, you should still attend as there is sometimes room for auditors to do a 3 minute pitch at the end.

If you are running late for a session, can't find a link or are having technical difficulties, please email moderatorroadmap@gmail.com and put the exec's name in the subject line that you are referring to.

You will get the links for your session on Friday before your allotted roundtables! You will click on the Zoom link and there will be a Roadmap moderator on throughout the whole roundtable. The exec will start the Roundtable with a little intro on themselves and then the Moderator will intro each of you at your time to the exec and give you a 10 minute warning and a 2 minute warning and then let you know when your 20 minutes is over. The moderator will talk to the exec privately at the end of the roundtable to see who they want to request and then I'll let those writers know after.

You will start each 20 minutes with a quick "hello/how are you, etc" with the exec and then jump into a 5-8 minute pitch. After that, the exec will ask you questions, give feedback, maybe have you pitch something else, etc. Also, come in with questions and 2 minute elevator pitches of other projects in case they want you to pitch something else.

Make sure you keep this conversational and engage the exec. This shouldn't feel like an interview, this should feel like a two-way conversation between you and the exec.

Please try to stay in each session as long as you can. If you can't, please make sure you're on 20 minutes before you are supposed to be pitching. I know that some sessions are happening at the same time so you will jump from one to another!

Alex will email you Zoom links for each weekend's sessions on the Friday before that weekend.
