Jon Hersh is an independent literary manager working with clients in both film and TV. Jon created his shingle Housefire Management in 2017 with the intent of finding fresh voices with incendiary material.
A graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Jon began his career at Creative Artists Agency where he worked as a full-time story analyst. During his tenure there, he evaluated thousands of screenplays, pilots, and books, and gave detailed story notes to high-level clients of the agency. After four years at CAA, Jon moved on to the fledgling mini-studio Broad Green Pictures where he helped found a new and innovative Story Department for the 100-employee company. Besides running a busy department that evaluated 50+ scripts per week, Jon had a hand in developing a slate of quality projects for the company and delivering detailed notes to writers and executives.
Jon's clients have projects set up at Lionsgate, Universal, Atlas Entertainment, and many others, including a client adapting a book for Paramount Players, a client staffed on The CW's LEGACIES, and two clients who recently sold spec scripts to Straight Up Films and Pioneer Pictures & Lost City.
