[Exec Bio] Garrick Dion
Garrick Dion has spent close to 25 years working in Film & TV both "behind and in front of the desk". He has 20+ years experience as a development executive at both the studio (WB) and independent (Bold Films, BRON Studios) level, following projects out of development and through production including DRIVE, WHIPLASH, NIGHTCRAWLER, VILLAINS and PROSPECT.
Initially, Garrick was drawn to L.A. to become a screenwriter, and has recently returned to focusing full-time on that endeavor. Over the years, he has written feature projects for WB, Paramount, SyFy and others; he became a WGA writer after his first assignment, working alongside producer Denise DiNovi and director Adam Shankman on the Nicholas Sparks adaptation A WALK TO REMEMBER.
A huge fan of B movies and cult cinema, Garrick is originally from Cape Cod, MA and graduated Ithaca College with a BS in Cinema & Photography.
