[Exec Bio] Garrick Dion
Garrick Dion has 25+ years of experience in Film & TV Development/Production. Having spent the first decade as a Creative Exec at WB for producers Joel Silver, and then Denise DiNovi, he transitioned into being a screenwriter, joining the WGA with an (uncredited) rewrite on the 2002 Nicholas Sparks adaptation A WALK TO REMEMBER. Eventually, he returned to "behind the desk" as SVP for BOLD Films, working on films including WHIPLASH, DRIVE, and NIGHTCRAWLER, before then joining BRON Studios as its first LA employee and Head of Story on features including THE RED SEA DIVING RESORT, CAPONE, and the Netflix animated feature THE WILLOUGHBYS, as well as creating the genre label The Realm, under which he produced the films PROSPECT, VILLAINS, and PARALLEL. Garrick is currently a manager/producer at the newly formed company 5X Media.
