Alexandra Santoro graduated UCLA’s Theater Film and Television MFA Producers Program in 2014. She graduated from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in 2012 Magna Cum Laude. Her call to a career in producing began when she had the opportunity to associate produce an award winning independent feature, A BIG LOVE STORY, which was distributed to DVD and VOD platforms and select international territories.
While earning her MFA, she maintained a full time position at Universal Pictures in the Physical Production Department handling feature film delivery. She moved on to work as a production coordinator at Trailer Park and is currently works for a producer in development and production at Original Film, responsible for such films as THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, PASSENGERS, and GOOSEBUMPS. Ali continues to be a voracious learner and passionate storyteller who seeks to make films that champion women, the importance of strong family ties, and genuine, feel good entertainment.
Each month mentorship kicks off with a preliminary 15-min. call to set expectations and lay out strategy for the month. Writer will have unlimited email access with executive plus 4x one-hour consultations with the exec. Exec will read up to 4 scripts in one month (different drafts of the same script or 4 different scripts) and conduct 4x one-hour story notes calls. Calls will also include pitch preps, brand preps and career strategy.
