In just four years, Roadmap has helped over 155 writers get signed to representation with agents and managers! Through our educational programs and competitions, Roadmap has directly helped writers get signed to companies including CAA, APA, Gersh, 3 Arts, Circle of Confusion, Gotham Group, Zero Gravity, Good Fear, Echo Lake Entertainment, and many more.
In this special 4-week class, you will elevate your pitches and pages, as well as make a plan for marketing yourself and your material!
Prerequisites: This class is for writers who have at least two screenplays that are ready to market.
Pitch Prep Roundtable: Each writer will prepare a 5-minute pitch to deliver during the session. After getting feedback, you will have the opportunity to practice your pitch again at the end of the roundtable to put finishing touches on your presentation.
Matchmaker: To sharpen each writer's pages, you'll participate in 2 Matchmaker roundtables hosted by manager Mark Saffian who will read your full script prior, so he can give you feedback during the roundtable.
Top Tier Roundtables: Writers will also have access to audit all the Top Tier Roundtables. There will be about a dozen roundtables and most take place the last 2 weekends of every month. You will have the opportunity to see how the Top Tier roundtables are run and, if there is room at the end of the roundtable, you can do an elevator pitch to these executives.
Marketing Prep & Target Homes: Marketing email session with Roadmap's CEO, Joey Tuccio, where we will create a personalized marketing email for you and help you connect with 5 different executives.
