About Your Host

A native of New York, Jeff Kennedy moved abroad at 18, graduating from Glasgow University in 2010, where he was part of the prestigious creative writing workshop under the tutelage of writers Michael Schmidt and Kei Miller. He subsequently moved to Hong Kong, where he went on to write and direct his debut feature, The Last Act (Dragon Horse Films, 2014). Returning to Glasgow in 2013, Jeff has written & directed everything from artistic shorts (All of Us Can, LINKArtFair 2014) to music videos (Heavy Flow, The Crossmakers, 2018), while also a contributing member of the Glasgow Film Crew. He is currently working on two short-films in post-production, whilst also shopping his feature-length screenplay, The All-American Soapbox Hoax. Tradition Pictures is led by former development executive Matt Einstein who was the Head of Development of Atmosphere Entertainment, run by former Tri-Star and WB Pictures. They recently set up projects at Cross Creek Pictures and Lionsgate. They also have a management division that rep an array of feature and TV writers.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Your material/contact submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than 2 hours prior to the start of the session.
  • You will receive this exec's feedback on your pitch within 5 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hours prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this period will be ineligible for refunds.
